Things to see in Gran Canaria

Bandama

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

There's no concealing this any more either. Up in the vineyard nation, around Tafira, is the stunning Caldera de Bandama, a victory pit that the more brave and fit can plummet by walking into, to pursuit out one of the most established and most troublesome wine-presses to discover on the island.

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas (Bandama)

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas (Royal Las Palmas Golf Club) is the oldest golf club in Spain. The club was founded in 1891 and moved to its present location in the Bandamas plains in 1956. The course was designed by Mackenzie Ross, with assistance from Dominguez Guedes. It is situated 15 minutes from Las Palmas at the edge of the Calera de Bandama (volcano) with wonderful views of central Gran Canaria. Golfers enjoy spring-like weather all year round, allowing players to wear summer clothes.
